Kynan Williams, M. D.

Dr. Williams joined PCA in January 2010. He is a Family Practice physician.

A native of Mesquite, he holds a B.S. degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Austin. He earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center in College Station.

Dr. Williams is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Williams is a sports fan and enjoys playing basketball, football and golf and is a Dallas Cowboys and UT Longhorns fan. He also likes to spend his leisure time traveling, reading, and spending time with his family and his dogs.

He has always had an interest in science and "it seemed like a natural progression to go into medicine," he says.

"It was important for me to do something to help other people - like being a teacher or a doctor. And I've done both."
