Royse
City Clinic expanding
January 5, 2008 - Primary Care Associciates- Royse
City will soon have more examination rooms and office space to better
serve the Royse City community. The clinic, located in Almo Plaza, offers
family medical care. The expansion is expected to be complete by the end
of January.
Susan Garza Anderson, M.D. heads the clinic's medical staff. She is an
experienced ER physician and handles minor emergencies including laceration
repair and other minor office procedures. She cares for the whole family
and treats acute illness as well as chronic medical problems.
Physician Assistant Courtney Tyson, PA-C joined the clinic in November.
Her experience includes working with Alzheimer seizure disorders. Before
joining PCA, Courtney worked in student health at Texas A & M –
Commerce.
Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Se habla Español.
Joseph Perks, M.D. joins PCA Greenville
November
26, 2007– PCA-Greenville welcomed Dr. Joseph Perks to the
medical staff earlier this month.
Dr. Perks is a Family Practice/Pediatric physician. He served as Medical
Director of the Community Health Center in Greenville for 11 ½
years before joining PCA in November 2007. A native of Oklahoma, he completed
his pre-med degree at the University of Tulsa and is a graduate of the
Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa.
He joins William Cantrell, M.D., Robert Deuell, M.D, Elly Jamal, M.D.,
Matt Koger, M.D., Leah Madsen, M.D., James Nicholson, M.D., Joseph M.
Perks, D.O., Taryn Hope, PA-C, Deborah Hughes, RN, FNP, Ashley Sanders,
PA-C, and Johnny Johnson, PA-C at the Greenville clinic.
Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Night and Saturday clinics

Tyson joins Royse City Clinic
December 1, 2007 – Physician Assistant Courtney
Tyson, PA-C joined the medical staff of PCA-Royse City in November. She
joins Dr. Susan Garza Anderson in serving the medical needs of residents
in the Royse City area.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A & M University
in College Station and received her PA training at Texas Tech in Lubbock,
where she worked in the Health Sciences Center's neurology department.
Her experience includes working with Alzheimer seizure disorders. Before
joining PCA, Tyson worked in student health at Texas A & M –
Commerce.

Dr. Jamal joins PCA Greenville 
December 1, 2006 - Primary Care Associates has
announced the affiliation of Elly Jamal, M.D. with the Greenville clinic
Dr. Jamal joined PCA in October, 2006 , coming to the clinic from from
Delnor Community Hospital in the Chicago area. Dr. Jamal is a Family Practice
Physician. She is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois
and completed medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Her professional memberships include American Medical Association, American
Academy of Family Practice, and Health for Humanity. Dr. Jamal lives in
Greenville with her husband. She likes to spend her leisure time with
friends and family and, when time permits, enjoys travel and sports.

Hughes joins PCA-Ellington
June 1, 2005 - Nurse Practitioner Deborah
Hughes, RN-C, FNP, BSN, MSN has joined the medical staff of Primary
Care Associates, working with Dr. Timothy Ellington at PCA-Ellington in
Greenville.
Hughes is a familiar face to many in the local area, having worked in
community clinics in Ladonia and Commerce for more than four years. She
also taught nursing at Paris Junior College before joining PCA in May.
She holds a Masters degree in Nursing and a Nurse Practitioner degree
from the University of Texas in Arlington. She and her husband, an emergency
room nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville, have a grown son.
Deborah Hughes is now accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment,

Wesley Street in Greenville. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday,
