Primary Care Associates is a physician-owned and managed group medical practice, providing health care for the Hunt County and the surrounding area since 1922. Combining family practice, internal medicine, pediatric, and physical therapy providers into a group practice allows PCA to provide you with more comprehensive, efficient, and cost effective services. Sharing office and clinic spaces, lab facilities, billing and insurance management allows PCA providers to concentrate on the health of our patients.

Our expanded hours (including night and Saturday clinics for acute cases and minor illnesses), wide range of services, and number of providers allow us to be more available when you need us.

• You will always have access to a healthcare provider, even if your “regular doctor” is out of the office.
• You can usually schedule an appointment for the same day you call.
• You will always have uniform insurance co-pay, no matter which provider you see.

PCA is a certified Rural Health Clinic (RHC), providing outpatient primary care services for Medicaid and Medicare patients in underserved non-urban areas.

PCA is also a qualified medical provider for The Texas Health Steps (THSteps) screening program for children.
